The team press the small seeds that are harvested in early August, long after the Rapeseed crop has flowered in May. When harvested these seeds are dried and stored ready for pressing throughout the year.
The team chose to cold press these seeds for the number of health benefits it brings. They find people are making the swap to cold pressed oil for these benefits, and not just purely for the taste of our oil.
With half the fat of saturated fat of olive oil, 11 times the Omega 3 found in olive oil, being rich in Vitamin E, the list of benefits goes on. There’s certainly more to our cold pressed oil.
